hello, summer!

I don't want to do my homework...so instead I'm going to think about summertime.

Summer Goals {of the 2011 variety}
1. Read C.S. Lewis
+Mere Christianity -CHECK
+The Screwtape Letters
+Words to Live By
2. Become a connoisseur of shaved ice. -CHECK
3. Volunteer 20-30 hours at The Children's Center. -CHECK
+Progress - 21
4. Make some pillows. -CHECK
5. Hike Ensign Peak. -CHECK
6. Buy some Sperry's. - CHECK
7. Road trip with the Burgesses. -CHECK
8. Concerts
+The Decemberists -CHECK
+Arcade Fire - CHECK
+Bright Eyes
+Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros
9. Refurbish a table
10. Be able to run 3 miles without stopping (this is a big deal for my weaksauce lungs)
11. Make some sky lanterns
12. Send 5 missionary care packages (to the missionaries that would never expect them)
+Brock Anderson -CHECK
+Alexander Jensen - CHECK
+Keith Sasine - CHECK
13. Complete at least 700 baptisms {edit: Did the math && realized this is literally impossible. We'll say 200).

14. Practice the guitar. A lot.
15. Hike the Y
16. Run a 5K
17. Do family history -CHECK
18. Try Moroccan food
19. Re-read

I laughed when I saw you wanted to re-read The Scarlet Letter haha I'm sure all the 9th graders going into 10th Honors English would laugh too thinking that you want to read it just for fun ;)I also loved your goal of 700 baptisms!!
